Log-line: A young entrepreneur who is struggling to lead a normal life gets trapped in a life of crime, violence, and heartbreak and doesn’t see a way out.

Dogged is a biopic with strong anti-violence sentiments. The film in its full exposé will look at the impact of growing up in a difficult environment, and will touch on many issues that inner-city youth can deal with on any given day. It is a violence awareness project. The youth need a better way. Put the guns down Chicago, STOP THE VIOLENCE! Let the children play!

AMoR Films and its feature length movie “DOGGED” is having an open casting call to fill various roles in its much-anticipated drama. Filming will start once we have secured actors.

I, Aldo M. Reyes, face of AMoR Films would like to extend this opportunity to any Chicagoland actors, actresses, characters, and basically anybody that could fit the following parts!

ALDO [Main]

Male 21-25 year old CHICANO. 6’3’’ Taller, bigger, husky, (or chubby) with a dominant persona, (alpha male) yet charismatic and “professional”. Chicago/Cicero native rooted in Pilsen, Little Village, and/or Cicero and able to speak both English and Spanish with ease.

DREAMER [Supporting]

Male 20-25 year old CHICANO. 5’4” shorter with a careless attitude. Smokes a lot of weed, very silly, and wears plenty of baggy clothes. Has no strings in life and is up for whatever. Very fun to be with, but also unpredictable. 

MADERA [Supporting]

Male 20-25 year old CHICANO. 5’7” with a normal build and killer instincts. Smokes a lot of weed, always has a gun on his waistband, and doesn’t take shit from anybody including his baby’s mother. Intimidating to others but is loyal to his boys.

ROSY [Supporting]

Female 25-35 year old CHICANA. 5’5’’ Shorter, beautiful, very “pretty” with pitch black hair. Very sweet and loving to her boyfriend ALDO, but there’s a dark side to her. Please be comfortable with on-screen romance and light nudity (bedroom scene).
